Is Your Turkey on the Table?

You are probably getting your plans down for the big feast, looking forward to visits from family and friends, maybe even planning your menu. Do you have your turkey ordered? Well, we’ve got a very special “Turkey on the Table” that we think belongs at your Thanksgiving this year!

Turkey on the tableTurkey on the Table is the perfect Thanksgiving activity that can become an annual holiday tradition for your family year after year. The plump, fabric turkey starts out with no feathers. Write things that you are thankful for on one side of each blank feather and add them to the turkey. The turkey becomes a center piece and the feathers can be read aloud and shared. Each turkey comes with a set of feathers, a pen and storybook. Additional packs of feathers are available.

Turkey on the Table not only brings thanksgiving and gratitude to your holiday, but the two women who created this product have teamed up with Feeding America and will donate 10 meals to someone in need with each Turkey on the Table sold.

Turkey on the Table – a wonderful way to express gratitude and to experience the joy of giving! Will your family be guests at someone else’s Thanksgiving table? Turkey on the Table would be a lovely gift for your hosts!

Time for a nap? We think not!

The bird has been carved. You’ve had more than your fill. Push back from the table, pat your tummy and open one of these great games to finish the evening out. These games pull everybody together and get the action going! We have sample games ready for you to try in the stores and we’ll help you pick just the right game for your crew.

Here’s a few of our favorites for the season:

Slapzi – This game is all about speed! Be the first to match all 5 of the right picture cards to the right clue cards and you’re the winner! Everyone will be laughing as they think fast and react quickly to figure out the clue. The fast-matching, card-slapping, everyone-laughing picture game. Slapzi is super-simple to learn, and super-fast to play!

From 2-10 players ages 8 to adult.

Happy Salmon Happy Salmon is the simple, fast-paced card game packed to the gills with high-fivin’, fin-flappin’ fun. Actions including the classic “High 5,” the unifying “Pound It,” the frantic “Switcheroo,” and the delightful “Happy Salmon” will leave players doubled over in laughter. With so many mini-celebrations built into the play, it’s the happiest game ever! For 3 to 6 players ages 6 and up.

Ticket to Ride – Choo-choo, all board! With elegantly simple gameplay, Ticket to Ride provides players with strategic and tactical decisions with every turn. You either draw more cards, claim a route, or get additional Destination Tickets. The tension comes from being forced to balance greed (adding more cards to your hand), and fear (losing a critical route to a competitor)! For 2 to 5 players ages 8 and up.

Shaboom! Can you balance a checker on your nose then toss it? Stack objects using your non-dominant hand? 100 event cards pose interesting challenges, testing reflexes, dexterity, coordination and “tactile logic.” Fast paced, simultaneous family fun.

For 2 to 4 players ages 8 to adult. This super fun family game develops dexterity and coordination.
