It’s OK to Feed Me

Dino at The Learning TreeAt both our Corinth Square and Park Place stores, Learning Tree customers are greeted at the door by a giant Dino Big Belly Bank. It’s fun to watch coins zig-zag down his long neck and land with a PLOP in his belly. For some customers “feeding the dino” is a ritual when they enter or leave the store. But what happens to all those coins? Here’s what…

Each year we pick a couple of local children’s organizations to donate to, and we’re looking to you for suggestions in 2017.

Have a suggestion of a local organization that would benefit young children from the metro area? Please send the name and a brief description of the organization to janegirson@the-learning-tree.com and we’ll consider your idea. We’re a local, family owned toy store and we’re committed to our community. The Learning Tree supports dozens of individual schools, kid focused organizations and child-centered community projects all year long.

Drop Everything at the Learning Tree!

Happy BottomsWe are a drop off center for local charity, Happy Bottoms Diaper Bank. Has your toddler reached the potty-trained milestone?

Or maybe your baby has moved on to a bigger sized diaper? Drop your unneeded diapers by the Corinth Square Learning Tree and we’ll help get them on their way to families that can use them.

The Giving Brick
We are also a drop off center for The Giving Brick, a Kansas City based, non-profit organization that collects used LEGO bricks to give to kids in need. They will take sets in any condition and with missing pieces.
